DCSA Street Stocks
This division is based off the popular “Street Stock” style rules found throughout the state of Wisconsin. This division allows for full and mid-size cars to compete with restrictions designed to keep the division both stock and affordable. All these cars started out as stock style production cars. Safety items have been added to these cars to make them safe for competition. Though minor modifications are allowed, the rules are very strict and the end result is very evenly matched competitive cars.
Amendment to 2016 Street Stock Rules:
Bodies • Floor must remain intact, if your floor is badly rusted or has been removed, you must patch or replace it in a factory appearing manner with 20 gauge (.0359”) thick steel plate. Right side of floor may be no higher than the top of the stock right side frame rail (Drive shaft tunnel does not mean transmission bell housing).
Amendment: If right side floor pan is removed and has not been replaced and/or an angled piece of Steel has been installed from the tunnel area up to the top of the door area and no floor exist, said car has to add 50# of lead ballast to the center of the right side frame rail area between front and rear of right door.
If right side floor pan is removed and has been replaced with a fabricated floor but is higher than the top of the right side frame rail, said car has to add 25# of lead ballast to the center of the right side frame rail area between front and rear of right door.
These penalties will be up to the track officials discretion. The car driver/owner will receive a written "fix it slip" to be signed by the driver stating that he/she will conform to the Penalty and fix the infraction now, or over the off season. If the car returns in 2017 not fixed it will not be allowed to race until it is fixed.
