Dodge County Speedway Association News

After numerous meetings and discussions, the tough decision has been made to suspend the DCSA race program for the 2017 Racing Season at the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway.

The DCSA board met on Wednesday, March 1st and voted at that time to suspend racing for 2017 while continuing to develop options for the future.

We thank all of the drivers, race teams, sponsors and fans for their support. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure enough financial backing to guarantee a successful racing season. Our group has not given up on the goal of regular races as the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway but agree that it is in the best interest to not create a divide in the local racing community.

We wish our drivers the best of luck; we consider you family and will continue to support you wherever you race. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to our 2016 DCSA Track Champions

THANK YOU to EVERYONE for a Great 2016 Season

Our goal for Saturday Night was to have fun and share the night with as much of our racing family as possible. And because of YOU, we succeeded. The night was filled with great racing and lots of smiling faces. We are truly blessed to have the greatest Race Fans, Drivers and Supporters that a race track could every want. None of this would be possible without you.

The comment heard most was “Great Night, when is the next race?” While this comment made us all smile it also caused a knot in our stomach because all of us were hoping to give a different answer. Saturday night was a HUGE success for us but unfortunately due to the IRA show this weekend, the upcoming county fair, cycle club races, the Nation of Patriots Rally, and other previously scheduled events, there are no Saturday nights available for us to race and we cannot risk the financial loss of running on Sunday nights. We had to make the tough decision and call this the end of our 2016 race season at the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway.

We are unsure what the future holds but we are going to use this extra time to regroup and focus on what is best for the track, the racing community, and YOU our fans, drivers and supporters.

Please continue to follow our website and Facebook page as we are planning a few special activities for our race fans as well as membership meetings to get your input for the future. And of course there will be an awesome banquet this fall. Pegi is already working on her list of special awards.

THANK YOU for helping us end the season in such a spectacular fashion!
